Terms of service.
Updated October 11, 2026
Scope
These terms describe use of the public hosted Docsy website, MCP endpoint, REST API and dashboard at docsy.remcp.site. Using the MIT-licensed public MCP plugin is separately governed by that repository's license.
Public documentation retrieval
Public read-only searches are currently free and do not require an account. Docsy can impose fair-use limits, throttling or temporary restrictions to protect availability. There is no guarantee that every library, version, source page or search result is complete, current or available at all times.
Acceptable use
Do not attack, overload, scrape abusively, circumvent access controls, submit unlawful material, supply credentials or confidential information in public queries, or use the service to access documentation outside your authorization. Automated clients must respect published rate limits and tool schemas. We may restrict activity that threatens users or the service.
Original documentation and attribution
Docsy indexes and cites documentation from external authors and repositories. The original content, names and trademarks remain with their respective owners and are subject to each source's license and terms. A search result is not an endorsement, and you should confirm important details against the linked original source.
Accounts and API keys
Optional accounts use Google/Firebase sign-in. You are responsible for securing your account, API keys and connected client configurations. Revoke exposed keys promptly and do not distribute or publish them. Public MCP retrieval does not need a key.
Availability and warranties
The hosted community service is provided on an as-available basis, without a service-level agreement. To the extent permitted by applicable law, it is provided without express or implied warranties. It may change, be suspended or be discontinued; check original documentation before relying on outputs for critical decisions. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Open-source code
The public MCP plugin and its skill are available under the MIT License. These service terms do not replace that license or grant rights over third-party documentation.
